Tips for Your Laying Hens...

Your laying hens should be laying all year round. If not, here are a few tips to keep in mind to keep your laying hens laying:

• Provide 14 hours of light - during the fall and winter you will need to substitute artificial light for sunlight.
• Feed laying pellets or mash - if you feed extras like scratch and scraps this will cause your layers to stop laying.
• Worm on a monthly basis
• Check for external parasites
• Add vitamins and electrolytes
